  The Sweet Primeroses- issued on LP record in , re-issued on CD in The first collaboration with Dolly Collins, and the first album to feature the 'trademark sound' of the portative pipe or flute organ, built by Noel Mander, copying a C17 model.

  Shirley Collins recorded Brigg Fair for her Collector EP The Foggy Dew and her Topic LP The Sweet Primeroses. The latter version was also included in her compilation Fountain of Snow and on the two anthologies And We'll All Have Tea and A Woman's Voice: First Person Singular.

  Shirley Collins is a legend within the Folk world. This album her fourth album, is excellent. This CD release is truly a great release. If you were collecting the albums by Shirley then first you would need the first two albums Sweet England and False True lovers Classic Albums Plus [Audio CD] Shirley Collins Both are available in one release on CD.4/5(8).
